1 — Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PACE ICSB department website (pace-icsb) and the linked LMS portal (lms.html), operated by the Department of CSE — IoT, Cybersecurity & Blockchain Technology, P.A. College of Engineering, Mangaluru ("we", "us").
By browsing the site or signing in to the LMS, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
2 — Accounts & access
- LMS access is restricted to active students, authorized staff, HODs and management with @pace.edu.in institutional Google accounts.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We never ask for your password.
- We may suspend access for misuse, impersonation, or violation of college IT policy.
3 — Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to breach, scan, or disrupt the site, LMS, or connected systems.
- Submit false, misleading, or someone else's personal data via forms.
- Copy, scrape, or republish site content at scale without permission.
- Use event, project, or faculty information for spam, solicitation, or unlawful purposes.
4 — Content & intellectual property
Department news, project write-ups, event pages and design are owned by the department or its students/faculty unless credited otherwise. You may share links and short excerpts with attribution for academic or news purposes. Any other reproduction needs written permission via Contact Us.
Student project content remains the students' work; the site displays it for academic showcase only.
5 — Third-party links & services
The site links to pace.edu.in, Google sign-in, and social platforms. We do not control those services — their own terms and privacy policies apply. See our Data Deletion page for Google-account data requests.
6 — Availability
This is an informational and academic portal provided "as is". We aim for accuracy and uptime but do not guarantee that event dates, achievements, or project details are error-free, or that the site will be uninterrupted.
7 — Liability & governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the department is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction at Mangaluru, Karnataka.
8 — Changes & contact
